KALI PUJA 2024

Dear BCAA Members,

Please come and attend the BCAA Kali Puja celebrations & cultural event this Saturday, Nov 2nd.

The event is free for our annual donors. We have ordered food packets for all those who have RSVP’d, but for non-members we will be charging $20 per person – if you wish to book your dinner please Zelle the amount to bcaaaz.finance@gmail.com latest by Wed 5pm, Oct 30th.

All the members who are current with their dues – please RSVP latest by Wed 5pm, Oct 30th in order for us to order your food.

Venue Address: Chandler Traditional Academy, 125 S 132nd St, Chandler, AZ 85225

Program:

Hall Setup: 3pm onwards

Puja: 5pm – 7pm

Cultural Event: Fashion Show – 7:30-8:15pm

Dinner: 8:30-pm – 9:30pm

Hall to be vacated by 10pm.

DURGA PUJA 2024

Dear BCAA Members, we are excitedly waiting for celebrating Durga Puja with all our members and families. The detailed Program for the event is attached, thank you for your patience.

For our Saturday cultural event, we are looking forward to the performance by the Nandy sisters – Antara & Ankita Nandy. They are ready to entertain us with their unique style and compositions.

We are selling some tickets to non-members on first come basis, please reach out to the following if you wish to buy tickets:

Tickets are $50 for general seating, $100 for premium seats (Adults). For children it is $35 & $75 respectively.

In order to enable us to get an accurate head count, we are requesting all our current and new members to send their donations ASAP. We do not want you to wait in long lines on the day of the event or face any other issues due to last minute registration. We might have to restrict the number of people inside the Hall for the Musical evening on Saturday to comply with the Fire & safety regulations, so please visit the donation page and Zelle your donations at the earliest.

BCAA community celebrated the Annual Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti on May 11, 2024.

Our local artists put on a superb show, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of Bengal & paying respect to the two famous poet-authors of Bengal. Heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who helped organize the event and to all the participants who made this evening a memorable day for everyone.

Bengali Cultural Association of Arizona (BCAA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to celebrate and promote Bengali culture in the greater Phoenix area. It also regularly engages with international, national and local charities in driving community services. BCAA’s Youth Group strives to promote the vibrant Bengali culture among the next generation and drives charitable work for noble causes. Arizona Bangla and Cultural school provides great opportunities for kids to learn Bengali language and culture.
